How to Books

If you know how to do something--anything--better than most, stop repeating yourself and earn royalties by writing a "how-to" guide.

Although a typical instructional guide has a smaller audience than a successful novel, the audience is easily identifiable, targeted and needs your book to improve or move forward.

The Banking Crisis

Books analyzing the banking crisis abound, yet I can't find any stories about how families and individuals were affected by Wall Street's insatiable appetite for CDOs (collateralized debt obligations).

I am looking for familes and individuals who were given impossible-to-repay loans based on ever-increasing property appraisals. These type of loans can include, but are not limited to, loans based on 90-hour work weeks, balloon payments, combo loans, interest-only payments, adjustable rates, etc.

If you've lost your home through bankruptcy, or are deeply underwater because you made the mistake of believing a bank knew more than you did when it continued increasing the appraisal of your home, don't feel stupid.
